Post LASIK evaluation

I felt relief when I saw your blog on the net, right now I am bothered by my 2 weeks old baby boy. I would appreciate if you could enlightened me with some information regarding my baby's left eye.
My wife delivered thru C-section last April 25, 2007, our baby was brought to us on the same day, we noticed his left eye was totally shut and slightly swollen (upper eyed lid) unlike his right eye. The pediatrician told us that it is normal at this point so he prescribed an eye drops for 5 days. To this day, our baby managed to open his left eye but slightly droopy which we thought its not normal. We noticed that his eyes reflexes were just fine but still we are very concern and worried.
We have consulted a pediatrician a few days back and told us to wait till he reached one month. But till this time I have been thinking that maybe my baby might be suffering from some kind of eye disorder, so we are hoping that you could help us, to take the necessary precautions or steps to avoid any complications.
